The well

In the afternoon it was time to start clearing the water problems in the barn. After making everything clean I was interested to open the heavy concrete lid on the well. I was expecting more a rain tank as there is a separate sewer system. Very astonishing I opened an old well. A really beautiful well 1.5 to 2 meters wide with nice huge stones in the side.

I could not see the bottom. I cleaned the opening and have put the lid again on top.
