A farm means
stables. Stables means food for animals. Food means rats. Luckily then, in Sweden, there is Anticimex. They have put some special poison and 2 spring-loaded bar traps. The
first 2 weeks nothing was caught. I have some former experience with catching
mice for scientific research so I used that to make some ameliorations in the food of the spring traps. And yes
now we had already 3 rats in the traps. Still some rats to go. But what to do
with the rats?
This is the
answer:
Some more interest for the crumbles by the magpies (skata - ekster) |
It took 5
seconds before the crow (kråka - bonte kraai) was flying over to take a look and 3’ before the crow
was trying to take the huge rat away (not succeeded). And after 30’ the rat was
totally eaten.
For sure there are some fat baby crows somewhere in the neighbourhood now.
