sotare and vitsippa

Erik and Timon arrived on Sunday evening.

Monday we first went to Häckebergasjön. And as we had an appointment with the chimney-sweep at 1 o'clock, we took some time in the afternoon to take a closer look on the farm and the garden.

I walked already with Carin somewhat North of Häckeberga and liked this hilly patchwork of dry and wet pastures and woodland very much. Today I wanted to combine forest and water. Therefor I headed for Häckebergasjön (sjön means lake). It turned out to be a fine acquaintance with the Swedish nature. 

The first fields of “vitsippa” were covering the forest floor.

At noon, although we were half an hour early, the “sotare” were already waiting for us. Problem: there was no ladder on the roof.  Euh … behöver vi ...? So they had to come back. And I have to find out how to get one of this ladders on the roof.
A quick look on the stove in the living room showed this one was still ok. 

In the afternoon we fixed some old machinery and could happily conclude some of these tools were working again. Working together with Erik is realy fun.
