Store Mosse

Store Mosse in Hässleholm was a guess and it turned out to be a really good place. It’s not the national park quite further to the north.
This place is an area for peat extraction. But most of the area is deserted and nature took it over. I never heard the singing of the moor frog (åkergroda) but here they were abundant. Unfortunately we couldn't see one. On several places cranes (tranor) were observing us with great care. Droppings of wild boar and moos paved our path but we could hardly see a glimpse of them. A white-tailed eagle (havsörn) came to look if there was nothing to eat.

Ampedus sanguineus
A beautiful and rough terrain halfway the walk.
Leucorrhinia dubia
