The life and our garden

Again some days silence. It starts to become a habit.
But a lot of things happened. So quite a lot to tell too, and with some nice pictures from Carin and me.

One of the things: We went over the limit for data on our 4G-router. Looking to films takes quite some amount of data. And on the other hand, the children are playing games, while chatting with friends, looking to YouTube films and lots of other bits consuming activities. So on May 26 suddenly it was over. Angry kids for 1 day. And until the 1st of June somewhat inconvenient for me because my link to the world was broken. But I survived.

The garden is evolving and layer over layer is spreading its colours one after the other. Now we are in the blue, pink and purple. A Wisteria (blåregn – blauwe regen) was framing our big entrance as a blue border saturated with fragrances. But it was such a splendid weather the last weeks that they quickly had to make place for new experiences.

The vegetable garden, the raspberries and the wall of pink flowers behind it.

Now the roses are coming. The first against the stables have a seductive scent hidden in the voluptuous bulging pink flowers. At our backdoor a dark red rose, still closed is somewhat timid calling for being picked by lovers.

A wild rose with fragile flowers.
The voluptuous bulging pink rose.

The dark red symbolising the lovers language.

In the mid of these waterfall of colours we enjoy also our birdlife. Here you have a view on the starlings nest (stare - spreeuw). The picture is taken from our living room. It’s the tree where the bird feeders were in winter. One of the young fell out of the nest before it could fly well. Not even 15’ later it was dead. The hooded crow came by. And I found some plumes at the back of the garden. Number 2 taken by a cat? Life can be hard for a little bird.
I love them!
